The AIR from Lampuga is an electrically operated, inflatable surfboard.
Regardless of waves or wind, the Air-Surfboard guarantees lasting fun on rivers, lakes or near coasts. The inflatable hull allows it to be transported compactly. Nevertheless, the hull when inflated offers no disadvantages in terms of stiffness and ride comfort.
The drive is integrated together with removable battery in the power box, which is firmly enclosed by the inflated hull while driving. For transport, the 38 kg total weight can be conveniently divided into three elements: battery, Powerbox and folded hull hose.
The operation of the surfboard is very easy by body movements and a throttle, which is optionally held free in the hand and is connected by radio with the engine control. Alternatively, the handle can also be connected to the board via a cable pull so that it can be used like a tether.
The powerful lithium-ion battery has a one-button operation, which can be used to check the state of charge and to switch the drive on and off. A so-called kill switch ensures that the board stops after an unplanned departure.
The 14 hp of the electric motor accelerate the Air up to 50 km/h. A battery charge lasts about 45 minutes of emission-free surfing pleasure. Recharging the battery takes about 2 hours.
In addition to the leisure version of the Air, the Lampuga Air Rescue is offered, which serves the coastal rescue.
