In addition to the technology and supreme quality that distinguish URREA, this company of 110 years of experience, has opted for the design, creating bathroom collections in collaboration with designers of worldwide recognition, such as the distinguished Mexican Ezequiel Farca, who designed LOX. Farca’s prowess as a designer within all scales is manifested in these pieces, which merge an aesthetically pleasing form with function.
LOX comes from the word LOX T’AAN of the Mayan dialect, which means strength. Is a collection that shows subtle and light shapes contrasting with strength and balance to the touch. These characteristics makes LOX a versatile element since it encompasses the masculine and feminine in its organic contours.
In recent times, the world has seen the rise of imposing architectural structures, which are mimicked by sculptural details that, along with the built environment, make up the spaces we inhabit day to day. This idea—along with a strict attention paid to the smallest of details—is behind the LOX line.
Drawing inspiration from the Modern Californian architecture movement and lifestyle, where the abundance of wide, open spaces allows details to take on an important role in interior spaces, LOX by Ezequiel Farca in collaboration with URREA is a sculptural piece that stands out for its sober design and formal fluidity.
While developing this line, many ideas were explored through sketches and prototypes, making it an authentic reflection of the exhaustive design process that had come to characterize the studio.
The collection is designed to provide a direct connection with the user, with an intuitive, functional and timeless design which makes it possible to adapt to a diverse range of tastes and styles. The materials for this collection includes brass for the body and chrome for the finishes.
