TROVA approached us with a vision to create a vessel for our most sacred, ceremonial, or recreational objects with security measures keeping them from inappropriate audiences. TROVA is a smart and secure storage device that utilizes the biometric security native to your phone, preventing unintended audiences from accessing valuable, personal, or otherwise private objects. TROVA gives consumers peace of mind-- from the ability to travel freely to protecting their children and pets from accidentally getting into something unsafe to theft protection. TROVA represents a big deep breath, because in order to be spontaneous and free, the reassurance of security must be in place. Discreet in sensibility, TROVA makes a statement by saying very little. Our solution seamlessly integrates into your lifestyle and your home by neither resembling a traditional lockbox nor anything else particularly identifiable. Our design features a soft, matte sandblasted finish, anodized in a variety of rich colors. Two distinct regions help the user organize their valuables inside, one of which is bridged by a robust elastic strap to prevent objects from tumbling around. Dedicated, magnetic ring-holder strap to secure rings and other small jewelry. Our interior tray integrates the outer seal of the product to reduce number of parts and complexity. The device utilizes the security measure of user’s mobile device (such as fingerprint reader and Face-ID) to provide the same level of protection. Wirelessly connected via Bluetooth technology and accessible through biometric scanning, our app allows only paired users to unlock TROVA. The “never lost” feature taps your phone’s GPS to mark a last known location while “in app” notifications connected to length of time left open prevent TROVA – and its contents – from getting into the wrong hands. We equally prioritized safety, organization, and peace of mind, while striving to create an object that can be cherished itself. We led an iterative process of varying form factors and sealing solutions that could extend across the current TROVA Go as well as future applications. TROVA Go utilizes an aluminum die forging, CNC machining, and anodization process, ensuring a durable and robust enclosure. Over molded elastomer interior prevents damage to valuables. Additionally, our use of premium materials promote longevity through durability and the character it develops as it burnishes naturally/uniquely with age.
