Project Description

Sunpower SunVault Storage

SunVault Storage integrates with the existing SunPower Equiniox Solar Panel System to create an all-in one solution that gives users the ability to control how much energy is saved and when it's used. So that in an outage, lights can stay on, phones can charge and refrigerators can stay cold.

SunVault’s clean, low-profile design occupies less space than competing solutions, while leaving room for future storage capacity expansion.

The SunVault system is composed of 2 elements, the Battery and Hub+. The Battery stores excess solar power and the Hub+ controls how and when the Battery’s stored power is used—in the evening, during peak times, or when power outages occur.

The battery has a backlit status panel and capacitive touch interface, which can be used along with the mySunPower app to control how energy is stored and used.
