HP Elite x360 c1030 G2 Chromebook is a high-performance machine, equipped with faster processors and more computing resources than chrome books are normally given. HP Design intentionally made a Chromebook that gives all the benefits of Chrome OS, with all the power a professional user needs for productivity.
Enterprise users need machines that are fast to power on, fast to restore, and run the business applications they need, quickly, on a machine that lives up to the business aesthetic. Chromebooks power on fast, restore fast, and can run Microsoft productivity apps through the Google Play store - but traditionally, they haven't looked professional, been well-equipped enough, or had a good enough screen.
The education user isn't the same as the professional. The c1030 has beveled edges that cut away from the flat sides, in order to make it appear thinner, and be easier to open and convert to tablet mode. The Front lip is cut for a finger recess to make it easy to open.
The computer uses narrow border bezels, so that the beautful screen expands to the edges whether in tablet or laptop mode. The active USI pen feels like writing on paper. Damage-resistant design: The c1030 undergoes MIL-STD 810G testing and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a spill-resistant keyboard, and thermal controls to prevent damage from heat.
Easier to hold, easier to open: The trackpad is large and matches the screen ratio for easier navigation Voice-based commands: a microphone array listens for voice commands. Add items to To Do lists, set timers, play music, look up recipes, or a million other actions; it’s never been easier to find files, apps, and answers.
On camera, on your terms: Webcam privacy switch shows when the camera is disabled. Recycled aluminum, with machined chamfers at the trackpad border and fingerprint reader make it easy to feel where the edges are and impart a premium feel to a recycled material.
