Project Description

Grupan is a ready-made shower floor with an integrated insulation membrane, inclined towards the drain, and compatible with linear drain systems.
It is designed to be completed in three practical steps aimed at saving time. Thanks to its smart parts, it can be safely applied to most drain systems and can easily tolerate areas with height differences. Due to the sliceable structure of both the pan and the shower channel, it is compatible with many areas.

During the cutting process, the insulation textile is not damaged because of its special design, therefore, insulation safety is ensured by applying the membrane practically without the need for any patching process. Perfect finishes can be obtained with options to apply both inox cover and tiling.

In general, in wet areas, sloping the water towards the drain is a difficult, costly, and time-consuming process. Labor costs and the quality of the application significantly increase the construction inputs.

As a solution to this, it is more practical, safer, and can be adapted to different sizes compared to the alternatives offered in the market; to provide low-cost and high-quality products to the user. Compared to competing products, it can be adapted to many areas by cutting both itself and the shower channel. The textile membrane is continuous and is not affected by the cutting process, so uninterrupted sealing is achieved.

As a result of market and user research, to meet users' demands for such a product need, with its unique and practical installation, Grupan was designed, which gives accurate results in an affordable price band. It has been designed by considering the habits and tendencies of the user during the design process and the requirements of the bathroom masters during the construction of the bathroom. Prototypes developed in line with the data obtained in this process were developed in consultation with the professionals and presented to the user experience.

Grupan differs from its competitors in that it can be easily cut to the desired size despite its hard structure, can be adapted with shower channels that can be cut in the same way, a one-piece sealing membrane that is not affected by the cutting process, and that it can be applied quickly and easily to the plumbing drain with its special parts.
