The Ascent Front Row Suite by Adient Aerospace is a reinvented product category for narrow-body aircraft that surpasses the level of luxury expected on long-haul flights. The Ascent narrow-body seat and its Front Row Suite were designed specifically to meet the growing demand for premium lie-flat seating in narrower single-aisle aircraft including the Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 families. With advancing technology, airlines are operating these smaller fuel-efficient aircraft on longer haul routes traditionally serviced with larger twin-aisle aircraft. It is an exploration of what is possible by dissolving the special restrictions that typically prevent us from elevating the narrow-body premium passenger experience.

Developed to transform the typical front row monument and business class seat into a spacious travel experience, the Ascent Front Row Suite demonstrates that innovation shouldn’t only be defined by the creation of new features or services for passengers, but by new transformative experiences. As a passenger encountering the Suite for the first time, you immediately notice the abundance of space as you enter and remain standing, gazing at the dazzling constellation of stars possible from the removal of the overhead bin. A companion seat not only allows you to sit at the desk, have a companion join you, or have somewhere to sit when your main seat has been converted into a bed, it also comfortably stows your luggage for an easy “roll in, roll out” experience. You discover the in-suite minibar (chilled champagne on demand) and library, features that share an interconnected space with the galley and create a truly versatile living space that dissolves spatial boundaries and unlocks innovative thinking.

Utilizing Adient’s world-class automotive comfort and craftmanship processes throughout this project, Ascent has set a new benchmark in single-aisle premium-class seating for density and comfort. Once again, we continue on our mission to deliver products to the commercial airline interior industry that improve the experience of a world in motion.
